Our Story (so far...)

Since 2013, Æblerov has been exploring the potential of native Danish apples and helping shape a new Nordic cider culture. What began in a small garage outside Copenhagen has grown into a full-scale production, focused on crisp, balanced cider made from organic Danish apples and a deep respect for the fruit.

Over Hegnet

With Over Hegnet we’ve distilled Æblerov down to one clear idea: a modern Danish cider built on simplicity and drinkability. Fresh, lightly acidic and gently semi-dry, it’s made to be shared — whether on a warm summer day, at a bar, or somewhere between a picnic and a festival.

Sustainability

Sustainability has always been central to Æblerov. Our apples come from Tvedemose, Denmark’s largest mushroom producer, where orchards are part of a circular farming system. We use surplus apple juice from their production and turn it into cider just 100 km away — keeping transport low and value local.
