To Øl x CPH:DOX 2026: Room for art, freedom and stories
CPH:DOX returns from 11 to 22 March 2026.
Over the past two decades, it has grown into one of the world's leading documentary film festivals and a significant internation cultural platform, with film, art and live events unfolding across Copenhagen.
At a time marked by uncertainty and a constant flow of information, documentary plays a particular role in it's ability to capture our attention. It creates space for complexity, nuance and human experience. The kinds of perspectives that are so easily compressed into headlines.
As the festival’s beverage partner, To Øl is part of the wider experience of CPH:DOX. A way of supporting a festival built on curiosity and artistic quality, and a collaboration rooted in creating the kind of spaces where experiences keep unfolding long after the screening.
At BRUS, several of this year’s festival evenings continue in our own setting:
On 13 March, following the screening of Bouchra and the talk Through a Queer Lens, at Empire the evening continues with BRUS Party: INTERSECTION, which carries the film’s atmosphere into a night of music, freedom and shared experience.
On 19 March, after Adam’s Apple, a documentary about family, transition and identity, the festival moves on to BRUS for an intimate performance by Mekdes, featuring songs from the new album "The Boy I Am".
On 21 March, the festival draws to a close with Final Party: Space of Expression following the screening of KitKatClub - Kinks of Berlin.
CPH:DOX gives space to art that asks us for more: More time, more attention, more willingness to stay with complexity.
Hope to see you there!
