FOLKELY in Full

When Folkely launched in 2022, the idea was to create a future-minded festival for Hundested, bringing music, art, talks, and local life into the same frame. Now, years on, that idea feels fully realised, shaped over time by a local organisation, a small committed team, and the wider circle of volunteers and supporters it takes to carry a young festival forward.

From 20 to 22 August 2026, Folkely returns for its fifth edition, with a line-up that says a great deal about the festival it has become. Anne Linnet carries one of the deepest catalogues in Danish music. Peter Sommer adds his usual lyrical weight, while established names like Artigeardit, Blæst, When Saints Go Machine, and Specktors stretch the programme across different eras, sounds, and audiences. Newer artists such as Thor Farlov and Michael Williams give the weekend a contemporary pulse.

That may be the clearest way to describe Folkely now: a festival with reach, character, and a spirit that feels close to our own. Independent, community-shaped, and built by people who keep showing up. We are proud to partner with Folkely.
